Profile: Benjamin Masyuko

Benjamin Masyuko has been trading in the gems business for over twenty years. He has been involved in the creation of markets and branding of unique products in the gem industry. In 2012 while in Zimbabwe he acquired a mine and produced ornamental gem called Aquaprase pioneering an unknown product that up to now is only found in that particular concession.

Benjamin still owns a unique ornamental gem called Mtorolite and currently has the only concession for this product on the globe.

He immediately went into business for himself in various industries including textile and mining.

He is currently founder and director of GREENGOLD MINING AND INVESTMENTS CC that deals in purchasing and dealing in gemstones and other strategic minerals.

Benjamin has been a key player in opening up different markets for Demantoid Garnets unique gemstones found in Namibia.

He is now involved in mining strategic minerals such Copper, Lithium, Tantalite and graphite.

He’s previously worked and dealt under the guise of several companies as listed below.

International Investments/Subsidiaries include:

  1. Malawi Harpak International:- trading and investing in small scale mining
  2. Zambia Harpak International:- That holds a current gold concession
  3. Zimbabwe ILNYAKA PVT – Mining Chromite and ornamental
  4. Theoneben International LTD – Kenya
  5. Theone Mining PVT – Zimbabwe

He has promoted and brought certain unique gems into the global appreciation through proper legal channels and to high net-worth entities in the industry.

Benjamin has acquired a wealth of knowledge in the industry and from time to time has been consulted by global bodies to help them navigate through the African landscape in search of precious stones.
